Pittsburgh noise-pop songwriter, Chris Laufman, releases his debut LP, Id, today via Dovecote Records. We've been waiting years for his full-length LP since he first came onto the scene with his EP, These Wings, in '10. Performing as Wise Blood, Laufman finally feels comfortable with his music-making process and stated that working with samples is more interesting and exciting than working with instruments. Some of his influences are Eric Copeland, Panda Bear, and Danny Elfman. Wise Blood is set to play an album release party tonight in Brooklyn at Glasslands Gallery. Stream "Alarm" below.
