After the split of Port O'Brien, front man Van Pierszalowski ventured to Oslo, Norway to take a much needed break from touring. The Norwegian landscape brought Van some needed inspiration which ultimately prompted he writing songs again. Eventually, his newest work would take him across the states, from Alaska to New York and back. He returned and dove into a collaboration with some fellow Norwegians which organically grew to a new project, WATERS. The rehearsals went well and they went with it.

Van and the band traveled to Dallas to begin recording with renowned producer John Congleton [St. Vincent, Bill Callahan].  The 10-day recording session resulted in Out in the Light . It's far different from his previous work. Here are two tracks off the album.
