This week's track features Weekend (not to be confused with The Weeknd) who recently released their new album, Jinx, on July 23, 2013 via Slumberland Records. After their debut, Sports, in 2010 and an EP, Red, in 2011, the band relocated from San Francisco to Brooklyn to begin writing and recording Jinx. Shaun Durkan, vocalist, bassist, and guitarist, said the best three adjectives to describe the album are "volatile, cathartic, and bittersweet." It's an excellent way to sum up what easily is one of our favorite albums of the year. Stream 'July' below.
