Many describe Daughn Gibson (a.k.a Josh Martin) as "Johnny Cash meets James Blake" with his soulful, country baritones fused with beautiful electronic samples.  The noir-country crooner hails from Carlisle, Pennsylvania and his recent debut LP, All Hell, is the both unusual and captivating. The album was released via White Denim and limited to 400 vinyl records. The album was self-recorded in a two-bedroom apartment in south Philadelphia last year. It almost didn't see daylight until Matt Korvette [White Denim C.E.O./Pissed Jeans singer] heard a couple of the tracks and decided that a proper album needed to be released. The end result is one of the best, most under-appreciated albums of the year. Stream "In the Beginning" below.
