The latest album from Lost In The Trees is a story of personal loss and transformation for frontman Ari Picker. In the summer of 2009, Picker lost his mother, an artist in her own right, due to suicide. Her death inspired him to create an album embodying her spirit. "I wanted to giver her a space, in the music, to be, and to become all the things she didn't get a chance to be when she was alive," Picker says. The album entitled "A Church That Fits Our Needs" is a beautiful record and illustrates why music is so important to many of us.
