The Baltimore band, Lower Dens, announced the follow up to their amazing debut LP, Twin-Hand Movement, that dropped in 2010. We purchased the record after a close friend said it was Jana Hunter's (Texas-born) new outfit. I ended up wearing out the vinyl and purchased the record twice. The new album will be called Nootropics, set to release in North America May 1st. The first single, "Brains", is an infectious pop track with a sound that continues to swell and build.  The only question that remains is whether or not the entire album will deliver like the first single. Will it be as well-received as the debut album?  "Brains" will be released as a 10 on March 27th with album track "Propagation" and B-side "Hours". Stream the track below.
