Polica's debut, Give You the Ghost, is scheduled to drop on Valentine's Day but many of us heard a preview of the album through the band's preview via iTunes, in late 2011. Polica is likely to be a 2012 must-see. This Minneapolis act features Channy Casselle, formerly of Roma di Luna and Gayngs, and Gayngs mastermind, Ryan Olson.  Olson shared production responsibilities with Spoon's Jim Eno, who undoubtedly one of the best drummers around.  The end result has been unique blend of rhythm and blues.  The track, "Lay Your Cards Out", features Mike Noyce of Bon Iver and... yes..that is autotune.
