THEESatisfaction is made up of Stasia Irons and Catherine Harris-White. Stas was born and raised in Tacoma, Cat in Seattle and Hawaii. The pair live/laugh/love/dance and create in Seattle, WA & write, produce and perform their own material, funk-psychedelic feminista sci-fi epics with deep Black Jazz/Sunday morning soul, w/ icy raps. It reminds us of Elaine Brown, Ursula Rucker and Q-Tip. 

The group now calls Sub Pop Records home and while this may seem strange, the group and the label are a perfect fit. It doesn't hurt that the group also collaborated with fellow Sub Pop artist, Shabazz Palaces. The label deserves credit for fostering indie growth and recognition & also for pushing new hip-hop/R&B/funk acts to the masses.
